Our Mission
Puerto Rico's first sustainable service dog program.
Families in Puerto Rico have long faced mainland waitlists, mainland costs, and mainland travel to access a trained service dog. Most simply go without.
Caribbean Canine Academy exists to change that: raising, training, and matching service dogs here at home, with the professional standards, follow-up, and family support a lifelong partnership requires.
Our founding pilot — 10 Service Dogs for 10 Children — is the proof of what a locally built program can do, and the foundation for serving veterans and adults next.
